How to Block Text Messages on iPhone

Block Texts: Sprint

Sprint manages text blocking by the use of short codes. A short code is special number that is shorter than a regular number. Sprint’s short code is 9999.

You would send a text message to short code 9999 that contains the command to block. Let’s say for example you are receiving a spam message from short code 12345.

You would simply send the message to short code 9999 with the message “block 12345”. If it goes through successfully you should receive the following message:

SprintFreeMsg: Text messages from “12345″ are now blocked.
